Welcome to infin-8! Your 8-week healthy habits challenge.
Over the next eight weeks you practice eight habits daily, push yourself with weekly health habit challenges, and work as a team to complete team activities so that you earn points. The person and the team with the highest number of points during the eight weeks, wins!
“What could I win?” you ask.
Well, for the highest scoring individual, you will win 4 personal training sessions with an Infinitely Fit Trainer.
For the highest scoring team, each participant will win an entry into one of our life-changing Mindful Eating Webinar Groups and a month long Infinitely Fit Membership (which can be transferred to a friend or family member).
If you aren’t our top team or top individual points earner, there are other perks you can win as well. Infinitely Fit is known for giving away weeks of training, t-shirts, bags, and even massages! So, stay tuned and engaged for the greatest chance to win more!!
Now, you’re probably thinking, “This sounds like a lot of work. What do I have to really do?”
Vegetable consumption: Eat your veggies! Try to get as many 4 servings of veggies a day!
Fruit consumption: Fruit is tasty too! Try and eat as many as 3 servings of fruit a day!
Water: Remember to stay hydrated! Try to consume ¾ of your body weight in ounces of water each day. So if you weigh 200lbs you will have a goal to drink 150oz of water daily.
Movement/Activity: This is not just working out. This includes walking the dog, mowing the lawn (does anyone in SD actually do that for themselves?), jumping on a trampoline with your kids, walking the mall, and playing laser tag. Just move your body and try to have fun doing it!
Sleep: Aim to sleep for 8-9 hours a night! OK, the minimum is 6 hours, but see if you can increase it over the 8 weeks.
Meditation or Prayer: This is a tricky thing because it requires some intentional slow down. Spend 15+ minutes in prayer or meditation. This can be as simple as just breathing 5 minutes 3 times a day.
Entries of gratitude: Write down and feel gratitude for 3+ reasons daily. It’s even more impactful in your mood and life if you can find reasons you’re grateful for the hard things in life.
Minutes of “me” time: Spend 20+ minutes a day doing something that is solely for YOU! This could be reading a trashy magazine, watching a soap opera, going for a hike, or taking a nap. It doesn’t have to be the same thing daily, just something every day!
The points for these habits have 3 point levels for each daily habit: 1, 5, or 10 points. The points and levels are explained in the table below.
In addition to daily tracking, you will have an opportunity to compete in challenges every week at your own pace. Some will be against others and some will be a matter of completion. The challenges will range from 20-100 points based on the degree of difficulty. Look for your weekly email on Sundays.
HOW TO SUBMIT FOR POINTS:
Logs are tracked Sunday-Saturday and submitted weekly, online at www.infinitely-fit.com/log no later than 10AM Monday. You must fill out all requested information in the challenges to receive full points.
Individually you earn your weekly points through daily habits and individual challenges.
Team points- are figured by averaging individual points of the team members plus the team challenge points added to that average.
